So I tried to install the SQL Server 2008 Management Studio today. Downloaded of MS.com and began the install. The wizard said I needed 3.5 SP1 Beta in order to continue with install. No problem I figured. Until I recieved this message.
Tried a couple of Retries to no avail. Since I obviously can’t close the installer without stopping the installation, I decided to ignore the message. Ignoring itself seemed to make sense to me. That is till the installer didn’t progress anymore and that canceling this action put all my .NET applications into a state of NOT WORKING. Reinstall of .NET was required. I couldn’t even use the bootstrap for some reason. I had to download the full installer. Thankfully MS had it available.
Regarding the belt issue, I think I may have a possible answer and guilty of doing the same thing. If I wear both dress shirt and t-shirt, I cannot access the Tequila Worm through the hole in the pants.
The dress shirt and t-shirt are a bit long on the torso, so when tucked into the pants they sit pass the cheeks. The only way to gain access is to undo the belt, lift the shirts, do the deed, retuck, and rebelt.
Another possible solution is the man was indeed wearing women’s underwear and had to drop the pants. Anyway, below is a video on restroom etiquette for males. Watch, listen, and learn you nasties.
I just don’t understand why any man, who is standing at a urinal, needs to be putting his belt back on. Why do you need to unfasten it in the first place? Are the wearing women’s underwear which doesn’t have a hole in the front? I just don’t understand what is going on when the guy nexts to me is intently putting his pant back on…
Someone call 9-1-1, I was raped in S.F. Yes, $29.00 for less than 3 hours parking in a public garage! The daily maximum was advertised as $18.00 and $6.00 after 4:00pm, how did I end up paying $29.00? No attendant of course. Scammers.
I am not sure where to start on this one. I have had about a dozen technical interviews in the past couple of weeks, both phone and in person. Some interviews were non-technical, score! Candidate walks to home plate. While others have been technical grill sessions.
I was recently interviewed by a Senior Architect who works for a Microsoft Partner of the Year. Well, no fluff here it was Shrimp on the Barbie from the very beginning and must add it was quite humbling. Score for the interviewer, but I passed (read squeaked by).
The interview with the Architect was followed by an in-person software architecture and design session. WTF! Anyone for grilled Mexican with a side of rice and beans? I was a bit nervous, but it was the best technical interview to date.
Here is where I wanted to go when I started this post. After the above grilling and design session, I was asked to participate in a phone screen and then an in-person interview with another company. This time with a non-technical group, what a disappointment.
I own a small portfolio of domain names and have been selling them off to focus on a select number of projects. I sold esocialnetwork.com and esocialnetworks.com several weeks ago and noticed the new owner has developed one of the domain names, nice.
I stumbled into a general topic forum and found some oldies but goodies … yo mama jokes, nice. The first thing that came to mind is the stupid yo mama show on MTV with the dork from that 70’s show. Wilmer trying to be tough acting like a fool!
Here is the first one: Yo mama so fat, I had to put her behind the fold … boo!
This is not a review, but I can not get the catchy line below out of my head. It is a play on the Mullet line, “Business in the front and party in the back”. You have to see the movie to put it into context, but here it is “Liquor in the front and Poker in the back”. Bruahaha!
Okay, here is another code snippet. I am assisting another site owner and I found DIV tags in both Spanish and English, which makes me think the HTML author may speak Spanglish. I am now looking forward to finding Ebonics embedded in code, nice. Check it:
BTW - I had to capture the screen, because the WordPress <code></code> tag is LAME!
I first saw this Bentley on the Sevas site and then again in the Heavy Hitters magazine. I do not know if pimp developers would drive a Bentley Continental GT with forged alloys, but here it is for your viewing pleasure. Check it on YouTube. IARB!
