Tappin’ Da Booty!
Haha! I think this is an appropriate title for the post. Check this out, I got a great laugh this morning on my way to work. Man, I wish I had a video camera to put this into context. I am not sure words will do it justice, but here goes nothing.
I am driving to work as usual, but near Fairfield I can see a small car bouncing around out of the corner of my eye. I looked over to the slow lane and saw a Honda Civic with a primered body kit and big ass wing. No big deal.
Well, as I got closer to the car I can see a petite Asian girl at the wheel of the Civic. She is so short that she can barely see over the steering wheel. The suspension was so stiff that every time the car went over a bump, she literally jumped out of her seat.
I was rollin' and followed along side her for a couple miles. The freeway is a mess, patches everywhere, uneven payment all over the place. Imagine this young girl jumping out of her seat every 100 feet. The Honda was tappin' da booty!

Go Sum Yum!
A couple days ago, I believe I told Sum Yum that I envisioned the Milkman dance being done to Rapper's Delight. The bass line has the beat needed for the dance. Check it out, I found an old clip from Scrubs that fits the vision. Nice!
I think we may have a candidate here for the music video. All we need is a volunteer? Sum Yum, where are you? I have both the extended and instrumental versions of the song, take your pick. If you need backup dancers, we can work that out.
Generics vs Objects
I'm gettin' my learn on. This is a super simple concept, but I had fun building a little tester program that puts generics to the test. I developed two identical class. One uses generics and the other objects. It simply loops through a list 10 times and each time creates a list and adds Int16.MaxValues items to a list. The results:
Generic class time taken: 312500 ticks
Object class time taken: 468750 ticks
Update: WassupJose asks rhetorically "Why?" The answer: "Boxing" that's a hardcore interview question. So look up boxing and don't be a tool. Know your trade.
Did you notice the counter?
Like drinking straight from the udder without ever returning home with the milk.
Fruit Cup Stand
On my way home from Costco, I stopped by the fruit stand on Northgate. I ordered a mixed fruit cup with chile, salt, and lime juice. A couple of interesting items about the brief stop that I want to post.
First, the fruit stand has a rating on Yelp. What are the odds that someone would rate the fruit stand? Also, I did a quick search for the Pico de Gallo powder used by the vendor and check out the last name. Ha!
The moon must be aligned with Venus or something weird. Nonetheless, the fruit cup was refreshing and it sure beats candy or other gut bomb snack. If you like mixed, order it up mixed with the fixings. Else, watermelon and pineapple is the way to go.

Damn Squatters!
I own over 100 domain names, which I acquired to develop or resell to other parties. Well, I operate on a micro scale compared to others. Tonight, I found a company that owns 240k + domain names. WTF?!
Are domain names like an investment portfolio of Internet real estate? If so, I own a couple of fixer uppers in the bad part of town and others own class A space in downtown. Funny, because others are investing (registering) in worthless crap each day.
The point of this post is that I am interested in a couple of domain names, but the owners are asking crazy amounts for the names. For example, I am interested in nowayjose but the asking price is over 3k and another domain name is $1800. Dammit!

Another iPhone Killer?
Yeah, the T-Mobile G1 is hyped up due to the Google Android platform. Well, look for Nokia to release the "Tube" aka 5800 in the next week. The phone is sexier than the T-Mobile G1 and no clunky buttons. Nice to have choices!

Hot Hyundai!
Damn, this Hyundai looks h-o-t! The 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe looks nice. When I think of sport coupes, I do not think of Hyundai. The HKS edition in "Write me the Ticket" RED with the forged wheels is a looker. Performance? Oh yeah, I would drive it.

iPhone Competition
With all the buzz about the new T-Mobile G1 phone running Google's Android open source platform the blogs are jammed with news, reviews, and rants. Move over iPhone there is a new Sheriff in town biatch!

IM Spam?
Today, I received two spam messages via IM. WTF!?! I assume the spammers that harvest the email accounts are now using them to send unsolicited IM messages. If so, IM can turn to crap just like the free email accounts we use.
I should have saved the messages for posting here. The topic was regarding making money online. It did not read like a canned spam message, but it was spam nonetheless. I blocked the user and am hoping this was a one off IM spam message.
