I planned on watching a PPV sports event this evening, but was discouraged when I learned it was $55.00. I might not be watching the event at this price. Let me check Yahoo! sports, $44.95. It is $10.05 cheaper, but still a small investment.
What shall I do? Order the PPV sports event from the cable company and watch it from the comfort of the couch or order from Yahoo! and watch it on the notebook computer? Hmm, decisions, decisions.
Whatever the decision, $45.00 stills seems a bit steep considering that I want to watch only the main event. Dammit! What are the odds that someone will stream the event on the web for less than $40.00? I don't know, let me Google that and find out.
Score! I found a 'free' live stream on Mogulus, nice! The view page had an annoying chat to the right of the video player, but beggers can not be choosers. I sat down on a hard chair, cleaned the LCD, and got my sports on. Check the shout-out!
Fantastic Voyage II
The Fantastic Voyage has been postponed until next weekend. I received a call from Kung Fu Panda earlier today, he is injured and will not be able to make the trip. Dammit! So, we are going to try again next weekend. Stay tuned for updates!

It has been a while since I posted a driving-related post, so here we go. I am confident that the following has happened to you at one time or another. You are driving behind someone who is driving slower than the speed limit. What do you do?
If you are a Slowski, you probably just go with the flow. Most of us will pass the Slowski and go about our business. Have you ever noticed that the Slowski will SPEED UP as you attempt to pass them? WTF morons!
The part that pisses me off is when I attempt to pass and have to get back in the same lane for an exit or other reason. These jackasses speed up to intentionally cut you off from the lanes. F*cktards need to get smacked down.
Microsoft Hosting Plan
Is anyone interested in sharing (as in free) a Microsoft .NET hosting plan? I renewed my PHP hosting plan, but am considering purchasing a .NET plan to pimp some wares. Specifically, I need a place to host some Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) services.
If I do purchase a .NET plan it may not be with GoDaddy.com, instead I may go with one of the Microsoft-specific hosting companies. They cost more, but the SQL adminstration tools and .NET components may be worth it. Just hate to waste disk space and bandwidth.
Smacked Down
Pigs can fly and it is raining cats and dogs. For a moment, I thought the Senate was going to flake and let Rod Blagobitch off the hook. I am glad to see they had the balls to remove him from office and ban him from holding public office in Illinois.
Let's see ... maybe New York or Texas has an opening for him. As much as I am happy to see this corrupt !#$%^& removed from office, we must not forget that there are others abusing their powers across the country. Who is next?
Notebook Update
I'm pleased to announce that the notebook in the crushed box did not sustain any damage. Another inch or so and it would be another story. I did notice distress marks on the plastic bag from the impact. Nice, I was not looking forward to filing a claim.
If you have ever filed a claim with a carrier, you know that the parties involved immediately point the finger at each other and take zero responsibility for the damages. FedEx and UPS are the worst offenders. The last UPS claim took months to resolve, mofos.
Fantastic Voyage
Kung Fu Panda and I are taking a trip this weekend. If Panda is not at work on Monday, do not be alarmed because he could be recovering from eating too much kimchi. I will post a low-key article to sum up the adventure, so keep an eye out. Kapow!

Nope, this post is not about another one of my fast food adventures. Instead, I stumbled on an article that states Jack-In-The-Box is using call centers to take drive-through orders. Did I read that right? Yup, Ravi might be on the other end. Don't f*ck up my order mofo!

Notebook Crush
This evening, I picked up two of the HP notebooks that I sent in for service. Well, one box is crushed on one side. It looks like someone bounced it, kicked it, and then pile drove the box for good measure. Nothing is ever as easy as it should be, is it?
The FedEx employee commented that I could check the contents if I desired. She went on to state that the boxes are usually packed well and there should be no problem. WTF! The box is crushed on one side.
Do the morons working in the warehouses NOT know how to handle boxes? I guess I should lower my standards and just be glad the notebook was returned. I am not opening the box until I take pictures of the damaged carton. In case, I need to file a claim.
