Kentucky Grilled Chicken
I rarely eat at KFC, but when I do it is for their fried chicken. I heard rumors of the chain introducing grilled chicken to their menu and I had to find out. Sure enough, KFC has just introduced KGC. What an odd choice. Fried chicken sales must be taking a hit.
iPod Covers
It is time for another rant. All told, we own eight various iPods (Nano 3G, Nano 4G, iTouch, etc). Well, some of the iPods are covered using the excellent iSkin covers. The latest iPods use Crystal Jacket brand polycarbonate covers.
The polycarbonate covers are tough and look great when new, but after a couple of weeks of normal use the covers look like crap. Also, I dislike that the wheel is exposed and needs the protective film to protect the screen.
In contrast, the iSkins cover 99% of the iPod (including the wheel) and use a polycarbonate clip to protect the screen. I wish I could return the Crystal Jacket brand covers, but they are jacked up from the floor up. $75.00+ lost, I want a refund!
Apple verus Microsoft
Apple versus Microsoft is an ongoing battle. Well, I stumbled across another post where the author makes some silly claims in favor of Apple. It is pointless to even comment here, but I do want to post the following for consideration.
Macs are over priced. Get real, you'll never make up the $1000 + premium for a Mac through virus software and the likes. Just realize that you're paying for aesthetics and admit it. I like Macs and own one, but there's not much difference to support the author's contention. I guess they can't tout the hardware anymore (what happened to Power PC) so that just leaves OS X. As to the virus comment, isn't that Macs are so much more secure, it's that they're not worth targeting since they have minimal server presence and just a sliver of the desktop market. Nothing against Apple as they make decent products. This response is targeted toward the smug (usually quite ignorant, arrogant and strangely cultish) PC haters out there.
Taxman Cometh
It is that time again. I do not know about everyone else, but tax day comes around way too soon. If you owe taxes, join the "I am screwed club". If you are expecting a refund, save it for a rainy day or payoff those high-interest Chase credit cards!
BK Advertisement
BK is on a winning streak with the edgy advertisements. I think the use of "Baby Got Back" was an interesting choice to promote their BK Kids Meal. Well, it looks like BK is in the hot seat for another advertisement. BK bagging on the brownies, nice!
An advertisement for a new Tex-Mex style hamburger hangs in a Burger King window in central Madrid April 14, 2009. Mexico's ambassador to Spain said posters for the new "Texican whopper inappropriately display the Mexican flag, which is draped over a diminutive wrestler like a pancho. "This advertisement denigrates the image of our country and uses improperly Mexico's national flag," Jorge Zermeno wrote in a letter to Burger King in Spain, the Reforma newspaper reported. Mexico has strict laws prohibiting the defamation of the flag, Zermeno said. He asked Burger King to cancel the ad campaign that "offends Mexicans and Mexico."

I am offended by the advertisement and need to file a frivolous law suit. I think a Whopper meal with a large Coke should do it. Biggie size the order and I will volunteer to personally appear in subsequent brownie advertisements. Ha!
4G iPhone
Is this the next generation of iPhone? Note the old school corded handset and stylus. Take a look at the multi-colored Apple logo, sweet! I am not feeling the grayscale LCD, pimp it up with 32-bit color for a new retro look. Kidding aside, what is this thing (yeah it is a phone)?
Chase Bank Sucks II
Haha! I just read an article titled, "Bailed-Out Banks Face Probe Over Fee Hikes". Yes, this is 'exactly' what I was referring to in the intial post regarding Chase Bank and their abusive fee hikes. If you recall, Chase raised my rates to over 26+% versus 11% for other bank cards.
I highly doubt that the probe will result in fee reductions, because its all about the money for these greedy !#$%^. Chase Bank will make any and every excuse to justify their reckless behavior. Chase is bordering on financial terrorism as are other banks. Smack them down!
Ugly Duckling
I am not a car freak, but I can usually identify a car's make and model. Today, I saw a weird looking little car that for the life of me I could not identify. I thought it was a Hyundai for a second, but the all wheel drive and wing jacked me up. Can you identify the ugly duckling?
Double Vision
OMG! Yesterday, I saw a man that looked just like the Milkman! I have heard some nonsense that everyone has a double, so if this is true it explains the double dose of milk. Let us see: buzz haircut, sunglasses, jeans above the waist, milk truck ... check. Arrggh, I am cursed!
