One Hundred Days
Yup. We have published a post for 100 consecutive days. Interesting, because I did not plan to reach this goal. I wedged the blogging into my nightly schedule and before I knew it, the century mark was within reach. Nice!

Low iQ
Check out the Toyota iQ concept revealed at the New York Auto Show. SmartForTwo move over, because there is a new micro-subcompact is in town. Apparently, the iQs are already sold in Japan and Europe. Is the US ready for another micro-subcompact?
If so, why did Toyota design this particular US model with huge fenders and skateboard like wheels? It looks little like the stock iQ. Haha! I assume Toyota plans on targeting the urban crowd in SoCal. Where is the 5-foot wing and canister muffler?
I think the new 2010 Honda Insight Hybrid is more practical for the US market, but what do I know? Also, I am not convinced the US is quite ready to give up its big ass cars and trucks for these niche hot wheels. Definitely a small target group for this one.

Shooting Madness
I just read a story on Yahoo! News, which summarizes last months mass shootings. What the hell is going on? I know this type of crime occurs throughout the country, but it just seems out of place. Fifty-seven people (7 officers and 9 children) in less than 30 days, madness!
Fake Brownie
Do you watch The George Lopez Show? If so, then you're probably familiar with the regular cast. Have you ever thought to yourself, "Hmm, Carmen does not appear to be of Mexican descent". I know I have and this evening, I had to check it out.
Drum roll please. * drum roll * Carmen C. Lopez aka Masiela Lusha was born in Albania. I have always thought her character was out of place, but I could not pin it down. The mystery is solved. Yeah, I know she is playing a role but inquiring minds had to know. Ha!

Mongolian BBQ
Earlier, I had a taste for OZ BBQ and eggrolls. It was too late to invite others and it is not a take out restaurant, so I settled on Mongolian BBQ. There are no substitutes, but I thought Mongolian BBQ would satisfy the taste for beef and eggrolls.
Tonight was a particularly challenging evening. The restaurant was low on meats (I scraped the bottom of the meat containers) and the counter was quite dirty. Not a welcoming site when you are about to eat, yuck.
Notebook Memory Sale
This evening, I stopped by Frys Electronics to pick up a new mouse and pad. On the way to the cash register, I walked by the memory section and noticed a deal on 4GB (2x2GB) DDR2 667mhz notebook memory. $49.99 ($39.99 online) - $20.00 mail-in rebate. Sale thru the 9th.

Hitting The Pipe
Last night, I published a post regarding the rumors surrounding Google and Twitter. Today, I stumble on a ridiculous post suggesting that Google should buy Twitter for $1 billion. WTF, check out the authors reasons.
5. Like Google, Twitter is already a verb. What company do you know of that owns two verbs? (bruahaha! Someone hit the pipe hard! Be sure to read the comments.)

Google and Twitter
Rumors are running around regarding discussions between Google and Twitter. Does Google want to acquire Twitter? I am not a Twitter fan, so I really don't care. Hmm, I wonder what Yahoo! and Microsoft think about the rumors? Google + Twitter = Gitter (done)!

Blogging Machine
Wow! I just noticed that we have surpassed the 600 post mark. Here is another interesting statistic: we have published a post each day for the past 90+ days. Granted some posts are on the weak side, but we bake daily just like Wonder Bread. Ha!
We will continue posting each day until we hit the 100 day mark. Then we will mix it up a bit, because most of the topics have been about personal experiences or damn politicans and their antics. Boo.

Bad websites
I spend many hours of my week battling over user design and sometimes its nice to bring thing back into focus. I happened to run into this site today and there's just no way to navigate it. Sometimes you need to remember what we're trying to avoid in the first place.
