I assume readers have seen the video below, because it's spreading across the Internet like mad. If you have not seen it, the video is a clever advertisement for Evian water. Haha! Nice job. Hmm, reminds me that I have to post a rant about Arrowhead water.
Craigslist Rants
Has anyone ever read the Craigslist Rants & Raves section? If you have never read it, take a few minutes to read through the gems that are posted on the site. Some posts are wacked out and hilarious.
Tonight, I found a post from a White man stating that he has no problem with Mexicans "in general" and politely asks not to spit in his food when he visits a Mexican restaurant. WTF? Wait, there is more. He thinks Mexican women are hot, nice save!
I have no problem with Mexicans in general, and I like Mexican food. I also like restored old American cars. I think Mexican women are hot, too.
So, please don't spit in my food or anything when I go to a Mexican restaurant, because of these racists.

Check out the Asian guy thread. Sum Yum are you lurking on CL? I really need to get off my ass and complete the "rant" project, so people can have an outlet to talk smack. The first thing I would do after launch would be to post links on Craigslist for instant members, ha!
Jet America Grounded
Jet America has purchased a one-way ticket to the curb, because it is suspending all sales and processing refunds. The company cited the challenge in finalizing slots as their reason to suspend service. Nice try, but no peanuts.
I think there is still a need for affordable air service, so here is some advice. Next time, get all your crap together before selling tickets. The $9.00 seats was a nice marketing gimmick, but if you cannot deliver all claims are worthless. Who is next?
Page Views Climbing
I am monitoring page views and other metrics on a regular basis, because I have witnessed a large spike in traffic. Well, the numbers are in and total pages views are up 540+% since the beginning of the year (excluding robots).
Does anyone want to guess why the blog is experiencing a spike in traffic? Hmmm, does this mean wassupjose page views will decline once the sexy feet site is up and running? Dammit, I need to step my game up and come up with another niche. Ha!
Bye Bye Bing
What the hell is going on with Yahoo! and Microsoft? Those two cannot make up their mind regarding the search deal. Well, that was until today when I read the deal is back on again! Does this mean Bing is going to be kicked to the curb?
I can see it now, I enter bing.com into Firefox 3.5 (my preferred browser of choice) and it redirects to Yahoo! It is hard to image that Microsoft may soon have control over Yahoo's search. Not that I use Yahoo! search, but it just seems weird. Whatever.
Get webOS
Today, Palm announced the release of their webOS developer program. If you are a mobile developer and want to develop applications for the Palm platform, check it out and start cranking out the applications.
I am still struggling to learn iPhone development, so I am going to pass on the webOS at this time. With pure luck, I may get a Mac and start iPhone development before the end of the year. Also, I do not have the time as I am developing a sexy feet site too. Ha!
Sixth Sense
Since I announced that I am developing a sexy feet niche site for the readers, I cannot get sexy feet out of my head. Everywhere I go, I see sexy female feet. I see them at the mall, at the grocery store, at the gas station, and most places I visit. I am cursed!
I should also mention that it is peak sexy feet sighting season, because it is mid-Summer and sandals, open toe shoes, etc. are the shoe styles of choice. Nice! Enough of the rambling, I need to get back to the "research and development" efforts. Check back soon.
Private Numbers
I do not know about others, but I rarely pickup calls from private numbers. If you hide your phone number, I am not going to talk to you. Period. Has anyone noticed that one cannot reveal the caller id or block private numbers to cell phones? WTF is right!
Well, inquiring minds want to know if there are any options. A quick Google search turned up several options. All are similar, so I will post only one. TrapCall offers number unmasking and other services for cell phones. If you need these services, check them out.
Content Ripped Off
Earlier this evening, I was reviewing the site statistics when I noticed a pattern of unknown referrers. Well, it appears that several blogs are aggregating content from wassupjose and posting on their blogs.
Fine, the blog can use the additional traffic. One thing that it not sitting well, is that all of the blogs are monetizing the content. Check out the Google ads in the screenshot below, should we place ads on the blog and monetize the traffic too?

Fred Flinstone is in the house! It is no surprise that I rant about morons on various forums, so here is another sample that was too good to pass up. Hold on to your hats, because we have found Bin Laden under a technology rock.
I would expect such a comment from third world countries where their access to modern world technology is limited, but the mofo obviously has Internet access and a web site. He is not living in a cave. Plus, the poster Googled and could not find an answer. WTF!
