Turd Manager
I was just notified that we have zero active bugs on our current project. Hell yeah, we be bad and shit. Well, instead of celebrating; I could not help but think of a particular asshole that used to go FAR out of his way to write bugs on a damn whiteboard!
In addition to his daily crap, the mofo spent countless hours "managing" bugs. Think about this for one minute. The team was using a tool, which supported bug tracking, assignment, routing, and reporting. Why was the turd manager micro-managing the bugs?
Simple, the mofo was "making" work for himself. Hold up, wait a minute. That reminds me of another loser that used to make work for himself. We are surrounded by turds. Watch your step people, turds ahead! Arrgghh.
What’s Up Doctor?
I took my sick ass into the MD to check out this damn whine flu. So much for the drama of thinking that I have some exotic flu, it turns out that I have a plain Jane common flu. Yup! Nothing special. The MD told me that I should be over it in a couple days.
The part that "sucks" is calling the insurance company to verify coverage, calling offices to see if they are accepting new patients, and filling out a big pile of new patient paper work to be told that I have the common flu. I can hardly wait to see the bill, crap!

Time For New Gear
With the holidays right around the corner and our 3-year old Xbox 360's aging each day, it is time for an upgrade. I found a cool Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Limited Edition bundle for $399.00 plus tax. Nice bundle.
The bundle includes a 250GB hard drive, two wireless controllers, headset, and extras. I am putting one on my shopping list. Even if I do not score one of the Limited Edition bundles, I think upgrading to the Elite edition is a must. Walmart, hold one for Wassup Jose!
Stop The Pigeon
Does anyone remember the theme song for Dastardly and Muttley? Yup, "Stop The Pigeon". Unfortunately, this post has nothing to do with Dastardly but a lot to do with the Pidgin IM client. If you recall, I dumped Trillian and am currently evaluating various clients.
Well, I was poking around on the file system and stumbled on the Pidgin directory. I poked around the directory and noticed my IM account names and passwords are in clear text. Is this accepted practice? No, so I have stopped using Pidgin until this "feature" is fixed.
Not Again!
Gamers, "Do you know what time it is?" Yup, at 12:01 AM Assassin's Creed 2 will be available at your local retailer. I got caught up in the mix for Modern Warfare 2, but think I am going to sit this one out.
I have a copy on reserve, so there is no need for me to run out in the damn cold or wait in line again. Being sicker than a mofo doesn't help the cause. I will pick up my copy at lunch tomorrow. Hopefully, it will be worth the wait. Diehards, run to GameStop now!
Come On Weekend!
WTF! Why am I rooting for the weekend when we just had a weekend? Well, it is easy. Next week, I am going on vacation. Can I get a "Hell yeah!" I worked all weekend and don't feel like doing crap this coming week. Whatever. The countdown starts now!
For those even remotely interested, yes, I will continue to publish random thoughts during my vacation. I am on a roll here; do you really think I would break my current record of 320 consecutive days? I don't think so! Later.

Check this out. I read the heading, "Google poised to become your phone company" and it brought tears to my eyes. Haha! I think it brought tears to the mofos gouging the crap out of us. Two great days in a row, score!
(Wired) -- Google is set to become your new phone company, perhaps reducing your phone bill to zilch in the process. Seriously. Users could make and receive calls that bypass the per-minute billing on smartphones.

Oh yeah! It's Friday and the day is luck number 13. Cheesy segue coming now. Well, 13 may not be a lucky number for corrupt Democrat U.S. Representative William Jefferson. He was convicted of bribery, racketeering, and money laundering. He receives a 13 year sentence.

Today is a great day! I enjoy reading news about corrupt politicians getting biatch slapped and put in prison. Okay, here is a tip. Investigate the mofos behind the Health Care Reform Bill and you will find another pool of crap.
