COD Breaks Sales Record

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 one-day sales numbers are in. "Envelope please." Call of Duty generates a whopping $310 million in 24 hours! I thought the GTA IV release was huge until I read the news. Holy crap!

Apparently, Modern Warfare 2 shattered the one day entertainment sales record. I think it includes movies and other forms of entertainment. Not an apples to apples comparison, but it puts the huge number into perspective. Yes, the game is hotter than a Naga Jolokia.

PIZZA!!!

Scooter Boy and his boyfriend were able to hang out with us tonight. I had a great time drinking alone as usual. Wassup Jose wasn’t able to join us on this night’s escapade because he has herpes or something. That shit won’t fly around her, son. This is a Anti-H1N1 zone. I don’t care what you might think you have, but for the next two months anyone that coughs might as well have the black plaque.

Normally I wouldn’t give a shit about the usual media delusion over such a mild controversy, but these are delicate times. I imagine this is what most Americans go through. “Normally, I wouldn’t act like a jack-ass, but…” I will strive not to evoke this statement often, but I believe pregnancy allows me this paranoia.

Anyway, everything is on the up and up at the homestead. Get well soon mother fucker. Missed ya tonight.

Good Riddance

I just read that Lou Dobbs from CNN has resigned. Good riddance mofo. The asshole whines and bitches about immigration all the damn time. Also, the mofo uses Latinos as a scapegoat for all the crap that is wrong with this country.

I have only one thing to say to the mofo, borrowed from George Lopez, "Fuck you puto!" I am glad that you resigned. I wonder if the shots fired at his house have anything to do with the recent resignation? I bet it was an immigrant, right asshole?

Monk Tips II

I almost forgot to post the update to "100 Things Restaurant Staffers Should Never Do (Part 2)”. This weeks installment includes number 51 through 100. Now that I think about the list, there are a lot of rules to remember and follow. Damn!

Don't get me wrong, there are a LOT of great tips on the list but following 100 rules seems like an impossible thing to do. Keep it clean, courteous, and don't make me chase your ass down to get the bill and we are good. Later!

Kicking Around Windows 7

Just checking out some of the new features of Windows 7. Evidently this little app just hooks up to WordPress automagically and does all the fancy stuff from a windows app. So far I think I’m enjoying the OS.

Take A Number

"If it weren't for bad luck ...", you can fill in the rest. Well, soon after I published the post on the Whine Flu I jumped in the beater and headed down to the local GameStop. Yup, to pick up the new release of Call of Duty Modern Warfare @ 12:01 AM.

When I arrived, there was approximately 50 people in line. Over the next couple hours, the line grew to a couple hundred. Not a huge turnout, but enough people to make the wait a pain in the ass. Not to mention that I left the house without a damn jacket.

I played a few minutes when I got home, but I had to crash for the night. I will post a mini review later this week. If I am not sicker than a mofo, I may even post some video using my handy-dandy Xbox 360 video capture solution. The bad = too sick to play.

Whine Flu

I think I am coming down with the Whine Flu. Yeah, you heard me. 314 consecutive days of whining, bitching, ranting, and nonsense is taking its toll on me. Oh, before you correct me and tell me that today is day 313. The consecutive run started on December 31, 2008.

This week, I am going to "try" to post earlier so I can get to bed at a decent time. Also, I'm counting down the days until vacation. Can you believe it? Nine consecutive days to refuel and take a much needed break from work.

Gas Station Drama

Have you ever stopped at a gas station that has one-way driveways? Well, I have one around the corner from me and mofos insist on driving the wrong way. The signs clearly read "Exit Only Assholes", but people still drive in the wrong way.

Today, some idiots drove the wrong way into the gas station and started honking their horn at a car that was parking at one of the pumps. WTF. Apparently, the driver that was driving in the right way took the assholes spot thus the honking.

Good Lord Revisited

I started holiday shopping today and stopped by our favorite Korean BBQ place for dinner. Yup, OZ Korean BBQ! Well, this post is named "Good Lord Revisited" for a reason. The total bill for two was $70.00 BEFORE tip. Damn, my ass hurts!

I do not know about others, but $40.00 per person for the Korean BBQ dinner is HIGH in my book. I am not a cheap bastard, but I almost fell out of my chair when the bill arrived. Also, the dinner did not include any items from the bar. "Good Lord, dinner was expensive!"

One more thing. I ordered two orders of OZ Galbi on separate plates and guess what? One plate had 19 pieces and the other had only 15 pieces. The monk is breaking it down for the readers. I would have busted out a scale if I had one on hand.

Also, the price of OZ Galbi went up. It used to be $20.99 and now it is $22.9x. I do not have the itemized receipts, but know it is $22.9x. I will still go to OZ, but it will NOT be an every week thing. Every two weeks should keep the hemorrhoids at bay.

ET Has Landed

Yesterday, I published a brief post about the new Droid from Motorola. Today, I stumble on an extraterrestrial cell phone. Based on the little information I could find, it is the Michael Jackson Memorial phone. No disrespect to Jackson or his fans, but "Why?" I'm done!
