David and Goliath
Have you read the news about a Harvard Law Student who filed the class-action complaint against Google? No? Read the below excerpt and come back. What do you think? Is this the modern day story of David and Goliath? A student fighting for her rights!
The complaint alleges that Google Buzz, which automatically opted-in all Gmail users upon its launch, unlawfully shared personal data without users' permission. The document cites the Federal Electronic Communications Privacy Act, the Federal Computer Fraud and Abuse Act, the Federal Stored Communications Act and California common and statutory law.
Do you want to know what opinionated Wassup Jose thinks about it? I think she is a media whore who filed the complaint seeking her 15 minutes of fame. Think about it for a second, Harvard "Law" Student files class-action complaint against Google.
What does she have to lose? Nothing at all, but she has a lot to gain from the complaint. If she loses the complaint, she got her 15-minutes of fame and goes away. What if she wins? I bet she uses it to her advantage. "I filed and won a case against Google!"
No Love for White Chocolate
The Golden Boy is getting no love these days. His "party" fucked up the health care reform with their corrupt, self-serving, back room deals and now Democrats are dropping like flies (retiring or not running for re-election). Good riddance!
Anyway, enough small talk. More and more, I am seeing "Impeach Obama" posts across the Internet. I think the honeymoon period for many people is over and it is time to bitch. And to think he rated himself a "B+". Haha!

UserInit.exe Is False Positive
We interrupt your regularly scheduled show to publish this public service announcement. If you're using ClamWin on an XP SP3 machine, it will report that userinit.exe is infected with the W32.Virut-82 virus. Per the ClamWin forum and other sources, it is a FALSE positive.
Just to make TRIPLE sure, I scanned the entire machine with two Enterprise level anti-virus scanners and neither reported a virus. Damn you ClamWin! I am just glad that I do not have a pesky virus. This concludes the public service announcement. Later!

Verizon Netbook Deal
No! I have NOT drifted to the dark side known as wireless carriers, but do want to pass this along for those interested. This deal is NOT for me, but I hate AT&T enough that I will pimp another providers wares! Also, I am in no way, shape, or form affiliated with Verizon.
Now that the disclaimer is out of the way, here's the deal. Verizon is offering a HP Mini 110 Netbook for $29.99 with a 2-year contract. Not bad, considering the HP Mini 110 retails for approx. $299.00 +/-.
Big Ass iPod Touch II
Move over bad news, because it's time for a bit of iPad humor. Last week, Walt released his interview with Steve Jobs. Listen to the interview closely, haha! Steve himself confirms that the iPad is nothing more than a big ass iPod Touch. Was I right or was I right?
WellPoint Delays Increase
Apparently, Anthem Blue Cross plans to delay their premium increases until May 1. Outside experts plan to review the filing and confirm the company is in compliance with state laws. Before we continue, read the below from Health Secretary Sebelius.
Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius said Thursday "It remains difficult to understand how a company that made $2.7 billion in the last quarter of 2009 alone can justify massive increases that will leave consumers with nothing but bad options. High healthcare costs alone cannot account for a premium increase that is 10 times higher than national health spending growth."
I want to know more about the outside firm conducting the investigation. The review will mean shit if there are biased, special interest ties to the health insurance market. Health care costs are out of control, partly due to reckless mofos like Anthem Blue Cross.
I am going to keep a close eye on this story, because the outcome might pave the path for other reckless insurers to increase their rates again! Also, members and employers need to know that they do have a choice. Kick Anthem to the curb, do NOT put up with this shit.
Flakey Photographers
I am ready to drop a couple of "F" bombs, but will wait until I get this post out of the way. If you have been reading the sexy feet posts, you know that I am trying to launch a site for our readers. I dropped the ball a couple months ago, but continue to work on it.
The website stuff is ready, so I placed ads for the sexy feet models and met with a couple of photographers. The sexy feet models are eager and ready to shoot for the site, but the "professional" photographers have disappeared or changed their minds.
WellPoint Fee Increase
Has anyone read or following the WellPoint health insurance fee news? I am not an Anthem Blue Cross member, yet I am outraged that these reckless mofos are proposing increases up to 39%. Un-fucking believable or should I say, "business as usual"?
Apparently, U.S. Health Secretary Sebelius asked the company to justify the rate increase. Yes, I want to know the damn reason too. Squeeze your ass cheeks together, because you might just shit when you read their lame ass excuse. WTF?
"These rate increases are unfortunate but necessary to reflect the costs of paying for the medical services for our members in the current challenging environment," wrote Brian Sassi, head of WellPoint's Consumer Business Unit.
I am so pissed that I am speechless! Go figure. Keep an eye on this shit, because I am SURE others will follow. "Since WellPoint stuffed its members with a 39% increase, we can justify our hikes too!" Members need to kick these assholes to the curb.
Remove HPZ12 Drivers
I am going to refrain from throwing another SOB! out there, but do want to state that this is another one of those moments. I installed the HP Officejet J5700 Drivers on a notebook, because I had to print several documents.
Easy enough, I downloaded the driver, extracted the files, and ran the setup program. The notebook felt sluggish after the install, what is up now? The installer installed two services, which were not playing nicely with XP (resource hogs).
Make Another Offer
Every once in a blue moon, I receive unsolicited emails inquiring to buy one of my domains. I am not sure why, because most of the domains are so-so. You know, not great but not ass stupid either. Anyway, I was offered $450.00 for one of my domain names today.
Hmm, "Fo Fiddy?" I could treat myself to Korean BBQ, Bay Area Massage, and have a couple bucks left over to pay a bill or two. Before I respond, I want to try one of the FREE domain name appraisal services and check the registrars.
