Damn! Another Ding

What the heck? Another ding in the chain? Yes peeps, it is true. I am back in the saddle, so that is not the excuse. I just got off work! Go figure, working late on a damn Friday. I think someone needs to credit me some time off next week. Mofos!

Bailout Barney

I found a website dedicated to bailing out Barney Rubble aka Stephen Baldwin. The website is asking fans to contribute their hard earned money to bailout the 'C' class actor and born again Christian. I am not faulting religion here, but give me a break. Read on.

"Stephen Baldwin of the famous Baldwin Brothers Hollywood clan... is no stranger to the Hollywood life of glitz, glamour and the public eye. However, because of (his religious) convictions it has caused him the loss of many jobs and most recently, a highly publicised bankruptcy.

"He has been publicly ridiculed and insulted by people who think that he has been abandoned by God. A simple search through the internet will reveal that people not only mock Stephen, but mock God.

"Our vision is to see Stephen Baldwin publicly restored in front of millions. Stephen's platform will increase allowing him to reach even more people with the Gospel and God will get all of the glory. Publicly."

Hmmm, I highly doubt that his bankruptcy is due to his religious convictions. Why do people always have to cover shit up? Tell it like it is; do not use religion as a crutch. Abandoned by god? Let's try kicked in the nuts by debt. No direct link, but I will Google that for you.

Chalkboard Scratch

I heart Family Guy, but one, err, two things bug the shit out of me. Lois and Chris have two of the MOST annoying voices ever. Their voices rank right up there with Fran "The Nanny" Drescher, Gilbert Gottfried, Jerry Seinfeld, and [insert your vote here].

Lois' squeaky, nasal voice reminds me too much of the mega-annoying Fran Drescher. Quick rant. How the hell did "The Nanny" shoot 145 episodes over 6 years? Some people have low expectations for entertainment. Whatever. End rant.

Chris' slurry, under the breath voice is just irritating. Apparently, the voice was inspired by "Buffalo Bill" in "Silence of the Lambs". Whatever the inspiration, the character has one of the top annoying voices. Luckily Peter, Brian, and Stewie make the voices "tolerable".

Ding The Chain

SOB! I am feeling like crap today, so I am going to ding the chain. Not sure what is up, but I am cutting this post SHORT. Hopefully, I will be back in the saddle tomorrow and publish a couple of "makeup" posts. Later.

Wassup Tweets

What the heck, people are tweeting my stuff. I was checking out the logs and noticed the referrer was Twitter. Does this mean Wassup Jose is moving on up like the Jeffersons? Hmm, I think the Netflix on Android post is the culprit.

Also, searches for "sexy feet" are over the top. Even though the pictures are average, I am going to publish them for the readers. I am going to skip the custom template for now, just dropping everything into a picture viewer. Check back this week. Later peeps.

Netflix on Android

Are you one who wants to know if Netflix will be available on the Android platform? Inquire no more; Netflix is coming to Android (soon). Check out the job openings for Netflix's Los Gatos location. Yup, a listing for an Android Video Playback Expert and Platform Engineer.

I can see it now (pun), Netflix on 4G is going to kick ass. Better yet, imagine Netflix on the new HTC EVO 4G with HDMI output. Movie nights will never be the same. What? Your buddy does not have cable? No problem, whip out that Android phone with Netflix and it's on.

Oink Oink

Oink, Oink. Halt, I am not calling all cops (i.e. 5-0, Do-do nutters, fuzz, pigs, po-po, rollers, etc.). This post is about bacon. Yes, bacon as in streaky bacon from a pig. Hmm, I can see where one might confuse this post with one about cops. Bruahaha.

Anyway, back to bacon. If you love bacon as much as I do and I do, you buy your fair share of bacon. Here is a shopping tip. If you are buying fully cooked bacon, "STOP RIGHT NOW!" That shit cost 7-10x more than uncooked bacon. What a major rip-off.

Apple Fanboys Cheer

Roar! Apple's latest developer program license requires that applications must be originally written in Objective-C, C, C++, etc. What the hell does that mean? Applications developed with other technologies, including Flash CS5 are out. Adobe what do you think?

3.3.1 — Applications may only use Documented APIs in the manner prescribed by Apple and must not use or call any private APIs. Applications must be originally written in Objective-C, C, C++, or JavaScript as executed by the iPhone OS WebKit engine, and only code written in C, C++, and Objective-C may compile and directly link against the Documented APIs (e.g., Applications that link to Documented APIs through an intermediary translation or compatibility layer or tool are prohibited).

I guess Adobe has had enough of Apple's bullshit, because the company announced that it is abandoning iPhone-based Flash development. Fanboys around the globe cheer! The funny and lame part is that many fanboys believe everything Apple claims regarding Flash. LAME!

Commercial Break

I purchased a copy of Avatar early this evening and could not wait to watch it, so I popped the DVD into the DVD player and it was on. Minor problem! The movie will run past midnight and I have to publish a post tonight else I am going to break the chain.

I did not plan to watch the movie this evening, so here is "another" cheesy post. Yeah, this one is pretty cheesy but I have to get back to the movie. Some days the damn "chain" gets on my nerves. It is consuming my very existence. Yeah right, later!

iPhone Prototype Update

What? The prototype was NOT leaked? The buzz all over the web is that this was a publicity stunt. Who the hell is right? Who knows, because everyone and their brother has their own take on the story (i.e. closet journalists and self-proclaimed "experts" at work).

I am going to shut up and let the dust settle down, before I post another dumb ass "iPhone Prototype" post. I got sucked up into the bullshit too. Now for some "real" news. Avatar is going to be available on DVD tomorrow. Buy or rent a copy for the weekend. Oh yeah!
