Back To Basics
I just noticed that I have been publishing a lot of mobile news, what the hell? Yeah, I like to keep up with the mobile market but I am getting away from the meat and potatoes. So, I am going to mix it up and get back to the basics.
For example, I have not published a rant about the cluster fuck oil spill, Arizona racists, and worthless politicians. I will keep it clean tomorrow, but will start queuing up rants for early next week. Btw, DUI checkpoints are in effect this weekend. Do not drink and drive mofos!

Listen up! Best Buy is going to sell the HTC EVO 4G in White starting on July 11. Pre-orders start today, Friday, June 18. The White version sells for $199.99 with a new 2-year contract. Decisions, decisions, decisions.
Droid Triplets
I cannot keep up with all the new gadgets, dammit! Every time I publish a post about a new phone, game, console, etc. something new is already in the queue. I heart technology, ha! Anyway, Verizon is going to up the ante on the Droid lineup with the Droid X.
The Droid X page is on the Verizon site now. Signup for their email notification if you want to learn more. I do not have the full specifications, but the phone will feature 4.3" display, HDMI output, and 720p video. How will it compare to the HTC EVO 4G? Coming soon!
Shedding The Pounds
Has anyone seen the new Xbox 360 Slim console? It is available now and retails for $299. The new console includes a 250GB drive, built-in wireless (it is about damn time!), and will work with the Kinect motion controller. Nice console, but I will wait to upgrade.
Pre-Order iPhone 4
Picture this, thousands of Apple fanboys sitting in front of their iMacs hitting the "refresh" button eagerly waiting to be the first on their block to pre-order the iPhone 4. Yes peeps, it is true. The new iPhone 4 is available for pre-order today and ships by July 2nd.
As expected, the 16GB and 32GB versions sell for $199 and $299 (with new 2-year sentence with AT&T of course) respectively. BTW, only black is available at the moment. If you want the white iPhone 4, you need to wait (no estimate at this time) or check Best Buy.
Climbing The Charts
Here is a video that is climbing the charts. It might not go viral, but it is getting a fair share of views. The Single Ladies baby was cute, but little Luiz drops it low, points, and throws in some Latin vogue for good measure. You got served Brazilian style!
Yasmine “Duke”
I saw the below video last week, but I forgot all about it. Loser! Anyway, the video has gone viral with 3+ million views in less than 2 weeks. The clip is of Yasmine Villasana launching her Chevy Impala over a toll booth at Dallas-Fort Worth International.
Accidents are NO laughing matter, but I have to admit that I was rolling like a mofo when I watched the video appropriately titled, "Drunk Driver Goes All General Lee Out of DFW". If you do not know what "Goes All General Lee" is referring to, get your wiki on and return.
The General Lee is the automobile driven by the Duke cousins Bo and Luke in the television series The Dukes of Hazzard. It is known for the chases and stunts, especially high jumps, in almost every episode.
So for her Dukes of Hazzard-like jump out of DFW, Wassup Jose wants to recognize Yasmine as an "un-official" Duke. BTW, Yasmine is a bartender and according to her Facebook page is "bored". I hope this shit woke your ass up.
E3 Expo 2010
Game lovers, E3 is just a couple days away. I usually catch E3 coverage on cable TV and the web. This year, IGN has teamed up with YouTube to offer live streaming of E3 from Monday through Thursday. Nice. Catch it on the E3 channel @ http://www.youtube.com/e3.
I might get a peek in here and there, but will have to rely on the E3 site for updates. If you are one of the lucky ones to attend in person, bring me back some goodies. Ha, I still have some E3 goodies from 2005!
World Cup 2010
FIFA World Cup 2010 is here, but I don't need to tell you. Anyway, World Cup started today and will wrap up with the final match on July 11. I did not get a chance to watch the South Africa versus Mexico match, but am disappointed to learn it ended in a draw. WTF?
Mexico is currently ranked 17 (average 12 position since 1993) in the World. South Africa is ranked 83 (average 47 position) in the World. What the hell happened? I think Mexico team members need to lay off the 7-Layer Burritos and kick some ass!!!
