I came to find out it was because I was trying to remove a certain table. Once the table is removed the memory exception would appear, the file wouldn't save, and the program crashes. So now I have a report pointing to a view and some random table. Kludgey. I spent close to three hours on this nonsense today. What a waste of time. I’m using 8.5 due to Proj requirements. I was also a victim couple of times. Which version of Crystal Report are you using? Did you ever talk to Business Objects or Crystal people?
