Notebook Update
I'm pleased to announce that the notebook in the crushed box did not sustain any damage. Another inch or so and it would be another story. I did notice distress marks on the plastic bag from the impact. Nice, I was not looking forward to filing a claim.
If you have ever filed a claim with a carrier, you know that the parties involved immediately point the finger at each other and take zero responsibility for the damages. FedEx and UPS are the worst offenders. The last UPS claim took months to resolve, mofos.
