The Gasoline Crunch
After Jose was complaining about the recent gas hike, I had to drive out to Roseville for a family tech call. I must have been just under a half a tank when i left and the next time I went out I noticed that I was riding on fumes. So I had to hit up the gas station, obviously. Then I saw this:
Then I filled up my 10 gallon tank and saw this:
Also, I fill up twice a month. That shit's cheaper than the bus, son. Even with the price hike. Suckas!

I was doing a little math based on Jose’s earlier blog about his 40 mile trip. If we estimate his SUV gets about 10 miles to the gallon (that could be generous) then he used 4 gallons on that trip. At $4.20 a gallon he spent $16.80 for the drive. Now let’s compare that to my Prius. I get about 50 miles to the gallon, so I would have only used about .8 gallons. That works out to be about $3.36 if the trip was done in my car… $13.44… my Prius basically buys me lunch everyday.

hey Gabe,. did you see a little Mexican guy filling up a big SUV before you? He goes by Jose
I was doing a little math myself. if scooter boy’s prius take .8 of a gallon for the same trip, just imagine how much gas saving if he park his Prius and hop back on his scooter. that thing is 0/mpg. BUTTT…, to be generous, he rode on his scooter for a total combine scooting time of 2 weeks with 2 injuries, you will only get 1-injury/week, but you wasted no GAS!!! and the body is regenerative.

Totally. That which doesn’t kill you only makes you stronger. Dave will be one hard mofo. After all those savings think of all the lap dances?!
