Dark Side of the Moon
I downloaded Flaming Lips new cover of Dark Side of the Moon and now I can't move or use two of the files because of the 255 character limit on Windows. I download all my songs to e:\Documents and Settings\Gabe\My Documents\My Music\Amazon MP3. In all the usually verbosness of Flaming Lips the artist name is: The Flaming Lips and Stardeath And White Dwarfs and the album name is "The Flaming Lips, Stardeath and the White Dwarfs with Henry Rollins and Peaches Doing the Dark Side of the Moon" That's 223 characters all combined. Then include in that the song names like "Speak To Me/Breathe [feat. Henry Rollins and Peaches] (Album Version) [Explicit]". For some reason my computer is able to create these files, but can't rename them because the absolute path is too long. Though now that I think about it, I think I was able to rename the album name and then par down the file names as well to get around this. Still annoying though.
Detour Ahead
Watch your step! I planned on publishing another post, but I just noticed that we are going to hit another milestone with this post. What milestone Wassup Jose? 1,000 published posts, kapow! Thanks to all the contributing authors for their posts!

Ask Wassup Jose
I just dropped the "media whore" post and had a great idea. I am thinking about starting an "Ask Wassup Jose" section, so readers can ask whatever they want. Sort of like Dear Abby, Yahoo! Answers, and KGB Answers. What do you think? Check the example below:
Reader: WassupJose, I think I have genital warts. What shall I do?
WassupJose: I think you should stop sleeping with frogs. Duh!
Maintenance Mode
Since upgrading to WordPress 2.9.1, I cannot use the "empty spam" button. I do not know if it is due to the upgrade or if there is a conflict with a plugin. Whatever it is, it needs to get fixed as I am tiring of manually deleting each spam comment.
Inquiring minds need to know, so I started poking around the blog. I have not resolved the spam comment issue, but did find other issues. I found broken links, missing images, orphan media, broken plugins, etc. Who is maintaining this damn blog?
Well, the monk took over and started cleaning house. If you visited late last night or early morning, you may have been greeted by the "maintenance mode" page. Yup, that was me tearing shit up.
I am not finished cleaning house, so excuse the interruption of service while I clean house and fix the pesky issues. Regarding the spam comment issue, I Googled around but have not found a resolution. If you have an idea, please pass it along. Thanks!
Make Me An Offer
Haha! Periodically, I check the worth of this blog. Not that I plan to sell out, but for a good laugh and it gives me something to post. Are you ready for the latest and greatest valuation of wassupjose.com?
Not So Original
I was planning on publishing a short series of random Google Suggests content, but I found that others have already done the same. As a matter of fact, I found a couple of sites that are entirely dedicated to Google Suggests content. So much for that idea!

Korean BBQ
My friends and I have been frequenting a Korean restaurant in the area for a couple years now called Oz Korean BBQ. We commonly refer to the establishment as "The Oh Zee" We visit there for special occasions or whenever we have a hankering to hang out and have some delicious beef. The quality of the marinated beef and food is excellent. The wait staff is usually pretty friendly and helpful. Recently, the crew has felt that we haven't been getting our fair share of beef when we order two or more orders. It's little things like if you order two orders together you get 2 mushrooms instead of four. Not a big deal until everyone at the table wants the mushroom. So we've been feeling a little short changed and decided to try a new Korean BBQ.
Throw It Out
Here is a quick question for the readers, "Do you eat food after the expiration date?" Here is another question, "What is the storage life of frozen meat?" Just asking, because I usually toss food before the "Use By" or "Freeze By" dates. I am not taking any chances.
I am sure this has been discussed 100 times over, so I thought I would read what others are saying. The responses for refrigerated food vary from a couple days to a couple weeks past the expiration date.
Enlighten Me
The laptop drive, which took a dump a few days ago, is fixed! When the laptop didn't boot, I knew it was not going to be the usual walk in the park. I was right! Diagnosis and repair of the drive took 2 hours, plus another 6 hours for imaging and complete scan!
I am by no means a hardware guy, but know enough to be dangerous. Plus, I have "Let Me Google That For You" at my fingertips in case I get stuck. I will spare you the details, but I do want to share another handy-dandy tool for the DIY crowd.
Do you hate attended Windows installations? I do, because I have to enter the product key, configure settings, and "tweak" it afterwards. This process alone can take an hour or so. I typically use a base image created with the nLite Tool ... check it out.

Writer’s Block
What the hell? I have been publishing new posts each day for 370 plus consecutive days and now that I want to write the restaurant review, I have writer's block. I think the problem is that all previous posts have been spontaneous and not planned ahead, so now I feel stuck!
I planned on writing a review on Seoul Restaurant, which details and rates the restaurant's ambience, food, costs, service, etc. versus the typical rant. Well, it is not happening today but I will post a review soon.
Also, is it just me or did anyone else have an upset stomach afterwards? I think the chicken did me in, because I was not feeling well after dinner. I still need a BBQ fix, so I am heading down the yellow brick road next weekend.
