Maintenance release v3.0.1 was made available earlier today and includes 51 defect fixes and 4 enhancements. Before I continue, kudos to the WordPress team for making the upgrade process a snap.

I used to hate upgrading and now, I just click one button and I am done. Oh, and for those that have not noticed. The website is placed in maintenance mode during the upgrade and returned to normal when the upgrade is complete. Nice!

Does the Webmail client render incorrectly? If so, it might be because you are blocking the GoDaddy image server.

Check your hosts file for imagesak.secureserver.net. If you are blocking the host, comment it out and try again. The host is widely associated with the GoDaddy parking service, but it also serves key files used by Webmail and other GoDaddy pages. End PSA.

The hot search topics might not be my 'cup of tea', but it has enriched my overall knowledge of popular topics.

With Hot Searches, you can see a snapshot of what’s on the public’s collective mind by viewing the fastest-rising searches for different points of time. You can see a list of today’s top 40 fastest-rising search queries in the U.S. You can also select a recent date in history to see what the top rising searches were and what the search activity looked like over the course of that day. Hot Searches are updated hourly.

Here is an example. I am not a horse racing fan and never seek out horse racing news, but I know that 'Lookin at Lucky' won the Preakness Stakes 2010 today. Go ahead, stay on top of the daily hot topics. Check out the Google Trend tools.
