Wacked Webmail

I wanted to publish a post titled, "Cap In Your Ass" about AT&T's latest scam, but I have to air out some dirty laundry. I have several email accounts hosted with GoDaddy and recently became aware that my email client is broken as in got kicked in the nuts.

I encountered the broken email client a couple days ago, but I did not think much of it at the time. Someone is screwing around in production or an update went south (been there, done that). Well, I tried it again today and the email client is still wacked out.

Take a look at the image below. It is a screenshot of the client (region). Note the buttons, format, and labels are jacked. I tried it in IE 8.x, FF 3.x, and Safari 4.x with the same results and need this fixed. Am I being punked? I scanned the system for viruses and nothing!

Ignorant Whiners

Unbelievable! Last night, I published a post about the cool, 'playable' logo on Google's main page. Today, I find posts on Google's Help forum from whiners complaining about the logo. I copied some excerpts for your review. Lame! Be sure to read my comments too, ha!

I had to remove google as my browser homepage. This damn pacman sound has cost me an hour and a half of my time trying to disable it. It is a complete ultra-mega fuck up. Google has lost alot of clients over this. Wassup Jose says - It took you an hour and a half to disable the sound? You are a dumbass! Good riddance.

WTF?Pacman sounds?Really?Whoever thought up this idea should be hung, shot, dragged behind a car,set on fire, then start the real torture. Wassup Jose says - Got your skid marked panties in a bunch over a playable logo? You must live a fucked up life. Loser!

Let's explore the possible scenarios here people.

1. Mega-Giant IT services Google is brought to it's knees by a silly Pac-Man widget, file for bankruptcy, and disappears forever off the face of the earth.

2. Google cuts the sound out the widget, everyone forgets about it in a week, and life goes on.

Any bets on #1 ? Wassup Jose says - How about scenario #3? Fuck heads like you stop breeding and the entire free world rejoices as the imbeciles become extinct. Switch to Bing loser, Google does NOT need you.

Oink Oink

Oink, Oink. Halt, I am not calling all cops (i.e. 5-0, Do-do nutters, fuzz, pigs, po-po, rollers, etc.). This post is about bacon. Yes, bacon as in streaky bacon from a pig. Hmm, I can see where one might confuse this post with one about cops. Bruahaha.

Anyway, back to bacon. If you love bacon as much as I do and I do, you buy your fair share of bacon. Here is a shopping tip. If you are buying fully cooked bacon, "STOP RIGHT NOW!" That shit cost 7-10x more than uncooked bacon. What a major rip-off.

Stooges In Washington

"Majority of Americans distrust the government". No shit! I don't trust ANY of the mofos. If it were up to me, I would kick all those useless dinosaurs and their special interests to the curb. It is time to clean house.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Nearly 80 percent of Americans say they do not trust the U.S. government to do what is right, expressing the highest level of distrust in Washington in half a century, according to a public opinion survey.

Only 22 percent of Americans say they trust the government "just about always" or "most of the time," according to the Pew Research Center survey released on Sunday.

Hmm, 22 percent of those surveyed trust government. I KNOW which group(s) of people will always trust government. Do I need to name names? Think about it for a minute and you will figure it out (self-preservation). Now, back to "Stooges In Washington".

Leaf Blowers Blow

Haha, another one of my creative post titles. I have always hated the loud ass leaf blowers, but today one son of a bitch would not shut up. He was running the blower at mid-to-high speed over a handful of damn leaves. Mofo, bend over and pick the shit up!

I am pretty tolerant, but I can do without the 20 minutes of non-stop blowing right outside the window. The worst part is that he had the 500cc two-stroke engine edition, which one can hear a block away. Btw, I am not the only one that hates the damn blowers!

Chrome Issues

A couple days or weeks ago, I published a post stating that I was using Chrome again. Well, I am going to throw it out again. Every time I use Chrome, I encounter strange behavior with client-side script and rendering.

Bring it on Chrome fans, because I do not encounter the above mentioned issues with IE or Firefox. Let the finger pointing start, but I am dumping this piece of crap until it is a usable alternative. Firefox 4.0 remains the default browser for now.

Check it out. I published the "Goodbye Chrome" post on March 6, 2009 and publish this on March 7, 2010 (almost 1 year to the day). Voodoo! Anyway, I uninstalled Chrome, submitted the uninstall survey, and received an error. Lame.

Polls Are In

Yahoo! News post titled, "Poll: 80 percent of Americans think Washington is broken". What the hell are the other 20 percent thinking? Oh, the other 20 percent are comprised of the corrupt politicians, special interest groups, and morons.

An overwhelming majority of Americans think that their federal government is gridlocked by partisan infighting and turf battles and can't accomplish anything, according to a new McClatchy-Ipsos poll.

Four out of five Americans, 80 percent, said that Washington couldn't accomplish anything because of fighting between the political parties and branches of the government, the poll found. Only 17 percent disagreed.

It does not take a scientist to know that Washington cannot do ANYTHING right. Bipartisan my ass, these mofos are ONLY concerned about their careers, political party, and screwing everyone else. The incumbents need to be removed, specifically Pelosi and Reid.

Gimp is Gimp

I am using Gimp to resize some images for a presentation. After I finished, I tried to rename the images folder but no luck. Okay, time to fire up handy-dandy Unlocker 1.8 to see which application has a strong arm hold on the directory.

Wanna take a wild guess? I found one instance of PowerPoint and over 50 instances of Gimp with locks to the image folder. Nice job! If I save an image and close the editing window, it should release the lock. Is that too difficult? Am I doing something wrong here? Damn.

Chrome and GoDaddy

As mentioned a few weeks ago, I'm pimping Google's latest version of Chrome. For the most part, I like Chrome now versus the early clunkers. However, one MAJOR annoyance is that I cannot reply to GoDaddy Webmail via Chrome.

There are other quirks, but the main one is not being able to reply to "G" mail. Haha, had to sneak that one in, nice! Anyway, I found a couple of posts which describe similar issues with no apparent resolution. Which "G" is going to fix this? Anyone have the same issue?

Flakey Photographers

I am ready to drop a couple of "F" bombs, but will wait until I get this post out of the way. If you have been reading the sexy feet posts, you know that I am trying to launch a site for our readers. I dropped the ball a couple months ago, but continue to work on it.

The website stuff is ready, so I placed ads for the sexy feet models and met with a couple of photographers. The sexy feet models are eager and ready to shoot for the site, but the "professional" photographers have disappeared or changed their minds.
