Sum Ting Wong
I was going to write a mini review on Little Dragon Restaurant, but found a couple on Yelp which pretty much sum it up. Check out the 1 & 2 star reviews and return for more detail and the Wassup Jose rating.
The restaurant does have an overpowering smell of urine or mold. I talk a lot of smack, but believe me on this one. I do not screw around when it comes to food. The restaurant staff is friendly, service is fast, but the smell ruins everything.
I do not know where the odor originates, but someone needs to address it. Also, I cannot believe other Yelp reviewers did not mention the odor. The reviewers must have had their head up their ass. No need to continue, odor equals a 1 star rating. Boo!

Private Screening Feedback
As mentioned a couple days ago, I am starting over on the photo sets for the website. The first attempt at hiring a freelance went south. It was a waste of time and money, but I put the smack down on that shit. Check out some of the comments I received, DAMN!
- ... this photography isn't very good.
- ... the focus and overexposure are unexcusable.
- ... casting really bad shadows on her own body, that's really sloppy.
- ... so bright you can't see anything, like her ankles, the shot is ruined.
- ... you can't have one spot that is 200% brighter.
- ... feels like someone's first attempt.
- ... they seem to have no skill or training at photography.
- ... her stuff is pretty consistently bad.
- ... don't know why she thinks she should be a photographer.
- ... her very best shot is pretty mediocre.
Quick Kudos
I talk shit about everything and anything most of the time, so I want to change it up today and give kudos to two products. First, Pandora Radio for being a great service. I create my stations, sit back, and listen for hours while I work. Use QuickMix for a nice variety.
It pains me to give kudos to this next product, but the product is pretty solid. Hold on to your hats people! AT&T U-Verse costs an arm and a leg, but it has been reliable and their caller ID and DVR updates are nice. Yup, just gave AT&T kudos. The world is ending!
Not so fast Ricky Racer! I do have a minor complaint about Pandora Radio. If you are using the free version, one can advance to the next song only several times per hour. Boo! Also, I noticed higher than desired repeats on some stations. Other than that, it is great.
Korean BBQ Revisited
I had a taste for some Korean BBQ goodness today, but I was a bit hesitant due to the last couple of subpar experiences and Gman's most recent review. I thought about it for a few minutes, "Hmm, should I do Korean BBQ or grab something else?"
After a few minutes, I figured that I could give OZ another chance. I am glad that I gave it another shot, because it was a great night. The waitress was friendly, attentive, and I did not have to chase her down for the bill.
The food was the best part of course. I am still bummed that they did not have the pickled cucumber. What the heck? Anyway, dinner was great. The only complaint I have is that we were seated close to a group of loud mofos.
10 Minute Mail Update
I just used 10 minute mail to "sign up" for a "free" service! I used to use a catchall account on Yahoo! for this purpose, but it is a total mess and infested with endless spam. The funny part is the sites state that they will not spam, sell, or lease the email. Right! Thanks Gman!

Circus Is In Town
Britney fans, please sit down. I am referring to Circus Animal Cookies. Are the cookies back in town? The Mother's Cookie & Cake Company went out of business, but read on for some promising news.
I do not know if many know, but the Kellogg Company purchased the Mother's recipies and trademarks to their products. I have not seen the Kellogg remakes on the shelves, but I did find an interesting alternative.
Tonight, I was strolling down the cookie aisle and found a "New" cookie from our friends at Nabisco. The "Iced Animal Cookies" are part of the Nabisco Classic collection. I just had to try them, so I purchased one bag.
I like them, but I can tell they are not the Mother's brand cookie. How the !#$%^ can I tell the difference? It is hard to explain, but if you can tell Coke and Pepsi apart with your eyes closed then you know.
Dark Knight
I watched The Dark Knight for the fourth time. What a great movie, but it has some cheesy moments. Batman's voice sounds horrible and in most scenes it appears like he is wearing a mouth piece or something. Take the cotton out of your mouth, lame.
The second is even lamer. When the Joker escapes from the County jail and is seen in the back of the police car, viewers "should" be able to see the fake looking background. Lame green screen effects here, minus 10 points. Boo!
Another cheesy effect it how Harvey Dent's hair is neatly parted after the accident. I can see the hospital shaving his head if he went through with the surgery, but he refused it. So what is up with the hair? Other than that (for now), I like it.

Piece Of Junk
A couple of months ago, I purchased a new CD receiver for the handsome Focus. The OEM radio and CD unit died out after five plus years of service thus the new receiver. I was not looking for a reference system, so I purchased an entry-level unit.
The make is Kenwood and the model is KDC-MP238. The unit plus hardware and installation was approximately $200, so I went ahead and purchased it. Originally, I wanted a Sony but the salesperson commented (read bullshit) it was not a good unit.
Whatever moron, I just want a CD receiver so I can blow this taco stand. Well, after months of using the Kenwood receiver I can honestly state the unit is a piece of crap. The display is useless during the day and the multi-function volume knob sucks.
Knight Rider Movie
Ok, curiosity got the best of me. I watched the trailers on YouTube weeks ago and tonight I watched the two-hour premiere of the Knight Rider movie on NBC. Well, it was not great and it was not bad. How is that for commitment?
The only reason I watched the movie was to see the Ford Mustang-based KITT. For the old skool KITT fans, we know the original KITT was an '82 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am. The black Mustang looked hot, but it seemed out of place in the movie.
I, for one, believe that KITT was the star of the show. Hasselhoff was a supporting actor in the series! Okay, back to the Mustang. I did not like the double-decker wing or the stripes on the car. Also, missing were the digital dash and Turbo Boost features ... boo!
The Mustang is a Ford icon, but it cannot replace the Pontiac Firebird Trans Am for KITT. I think a 5th-generation Firebird Trans Am would have been a better choice, but again what do I know? Oh, Hasselhoff had a cameo as Michael Knight ... of course.
For video peeps …
YouTube is the reference video sharing site, period. Not so fast Ricky Racer, video sharing sites are popping up each day. Each with their own niche or unique features, so it is only appropriate that we give props to sites that do video BETTER than YouTube:
