Winamp
This is not news, but here is my contribution. Winamp is the reference media player, Media Player sucks! I have been using Winamp since version 1.0 back in the day and version 5.5x is excellent. Check out the WassupJose Winamp rockin' da beats.

Winamp has been my go to tool forever! I still have a version 2.x installer floating around my PCs somewhere before they bloated it with all the fancy skin stuff. I just want to listen to music!
