Disposable Email Accounts

Since our buddy Gman published the post on 10 Minute Mail, I have been using it like it was going out of style. I do not have to give out a "real" email address to download software or register on a site, because we all know the sites are building their spam email lists.

Today, I was wondering if I could extend the 10 minute period without sitting on their page and requesting additional time. Well, it turns out there are many temporary email account providers. Some provide customizable life spans and forwarding, below is a short list:

  • Mailinator - auto account creation and check email via RSS, widget, or browser!
  • Mailexpire - lifespan from 12 hours to 3 months
  • Jetable - lifespan 1 hour to 1 month with forwarding

Note: I found over 20-30 plus services, but I need to filter them out before posting here. I noticed that some services post the content of the email on their website and some of the services appear "shifty" (i.e. require registration with name and email verification).

  1. Hi

I am associated with the site soodonims.com.
It allows you to create aliases (disposable email addresses) that last from a day to forever. You can have it disabled automatically based on a predetermined date or after a predetermined number of receipts. Or , you can just click it disabled at any time.
I invite you to have a look.
