Wal-Mart Airlines
There is no Wal-Mart Airlines, but the title is catchy and fitting for this post. Jet America is the new cowboy on the block. Big deal is right; the "discount" airline is offering 9 seats for $9.00 dollars on every flight. WTF! is right.
It will cost me more than $9.00 to drive to the Bay Area. I understand that not all seats are $9.00, but what a deal for the first lucky 9 passengers to book a ticket. I have zero details on the airline, but the "in-your-face" price caught my attention! Check them out.

Operated by Miami Air International, Inc. $9* one-way internet-only fares *plus a $5.00 convenience fee per ticketed passenger, each-way, if booked on http://www.jetamerica.com website, for a total of $14 each way, plus taxes and fees. Reservations made by calling (727)-451-3970, will be assessed an additional $10.00 Call Center Fee, per person, per reservation, for a total of $24 each way, plus taxes and fees. Fares do not include September 11th Security Fees of $2.50, Federal Excise Segment taxes of $3.60, or Passenger Facility Charges of up to $4.50.
With the exception of the Call Center Fee, all fees and taxes are per person, per segment. A segment is one takeoff and landing. Advance seat selection prior to departure may be purchased for $10.00 per person each way. Fares are subject to availability at the time of booking and are subject to change. Please refer to our Tour Participant Agreement for additional terms and conditions.
