New Digs!

I am sporting new digs! Specifically, I am using the Digsby IM + Email + Social Network client. If you recall, I dropped Trillian Basic and have been trying out various IM clients looking for a replacement. Most of the clients I have tried to date suck big time.

Well, I got tired of the hit-and-miss and strolled over to one of my favorites - Wikipedia. The site has a comparison of IM clients, which came in handy when evaluating IM clients. I tried Pidgin, Miranda, and others thinking that more is better but of course I know better.

I was trying out IM clients, which supported the most protocols and had the most features, what the heck was I thinking? I just need an IM client, which supports the MSN and Yahoo! protocols. Nothing fancy, just something that works and works well.

The Digsby IM + Email + Social Network client has more features than I need but it works. I like the interface and email notification is a nice feature. I should note that I had to create a Digsby account, but I would rather use Digsby than Trillian now. Nice.
