Winamp Woes
Winamp is one of my ALL TIME favorite utilities, but one thing that irritates the crap out of me is the funky and unintuitive shortcut keys. For example, one that always bugs me is the cheesy "search" implementation.
If one wants to search for a song, users MUST open the "Jump to file" dialog using the "j" shortcut key or selecting the "Jump to file" item on the Playback menu. Why is search on the "Jump to file" dialog? How about "G"oto, "F"ind or "S"earch?

Who gives a shit. The Winamp jump key is a intuitive as using ctrl-S to save. It’s mother fucking WINAMP! Perhaps your reasoning is sound, but when you use an application like winamp for the better part of a decade, surpassing even versions of OSs, the tool stands on its own. When I boot up winamp and need to look for a song, I don’t even hesitate a second. I know that a Winamp search means pressing J.
