Got this working wit a little tweaking. It defaults to compatibility mode with WinXP service pack 2, but it will only run it SP3. Change that setting in the compatibility mode wizard and it installed fine. Thanks for the help!

Anybody know if this will work on Windows Server 2008 64-bit? I run WS2008 at home as my home server, and host other OSes using Hyper-V. Unfortunately, I can’t utilize the USB devices in the VMs, otherwise I’d just spin up Windows XP in one and be done with it.

Works with Windows7 – followed your instructions and at first they didn’t work; then I figured out that I have a brand new computer and I had to download and install DirectX manually. Then it worked. Thanks for the tip!
