It is official; Lackluster Video has filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy. Will the company live to rent another day? I guess only time will tell. Oh, check out the comment I stumbled on at Engadget. Time to put an "L" up in the air. LAME!

we are an excellent store and we did all we could do to provide excellent service, such as completely getting rid of a late fee. NO LATE FEES! what more could you want? instead of late fees, we implemented a fine for overdue products and charged your credit card for the purchase of the movie so that we could give you the movie instead of you having to waste gas to drive to the store and buy it.
instead of giving you the option to have a movie for one day for $1 like many independent rental stores, we only give the option for having a movie for a week. this gives you more time to watch it for only $6 per movie.
we are an innovative company. and we hope you remain with us for a very long time.
